I participated in the FETAC Level 6 Train the Trainer’ course delivered by James Martin, TeamLife Training and held at Carrickmacross Workhouse in March and April of this year. The trainees found the teaching methods excellent and to have been both involving and energising. James’ presentation style was positive and dynamic, and he managed to bring along everyone in the room. The handouts, powerpoints and manual were comprehensive and excellently prepared. There were many useful elements in the course that could be applied to all aspects of personal and professional life. The course challenged many people’s preconceptions, yet everyone found it enjoyable and good fun too. Many loved the group work and all commented on the well timed delivery. 10/10 all round.

At the end of the course James gave a rousing coaching session. His performance was inspiring and delivered at a cracking pace that kept us on the edge of our seats. When I first conceived the idea of running 32 Marathons in all 32 counties in 32 days, I knew I needed the best coach possible to support me before, during and after the event. James and I worked very closely together in the months leading into our ultra marathon adventure and his coaching would prove invaluable both emotionally and physically to me.
